the Apulia coast

The town of Monopoli is a strong knot of the gorgeous rope that makes up the jagged outline of Apulian coast.
Starting from the cliff-side reef of Polignano a Mare at north, the coast begins to level out gradually moving towards south in Monopoli where the nature offers charming uncontaminated bays; beyond there is the sandy stretch of Capitolo, heart of the night movida with its famous discotheques, and the archeological remains of Egnathia. The last boundary to the near province of Brindisi is the uncontaminated natural reserve of Torre Guaceto with its protected area.
